Doug's background in news photography developed
lightning quick reflexes to follow the flow of
events, and capture great images as events unfold.
This concept was developed in photojournalism by
legendary French photographer Henri
Cartier-Bresson. Anticipating events in order to
snap the shutter at just the right time is called
"the decisive moment." This skill makes it
possible to spend less time posing in front of the
camera, and more time enjoying the day with your
wedding guests.
Doug believes a large
number of candid, spontaneous pictures are
important to tell the story of your wedding.
But wedding photography is specialized, and Doug
learned, a moderate number of "formal" family
poses are planned in order capture family members
together in pictures.
Doug likes to meet with
the bride and groom in advance, to plan any
specific poses that are important to them. Doug
enjoys photographing weddings and records images
that your family will treasure for
generations.

packages include high resolution, copyright cleared,
printable images on archival CD or DVD disks.
